Residence for ZYJ Interior Design
Bringing a variety of materials, changing the impression of the space with a warm color tone that can be seen in the whole home space. With the good lighting in the living room that is reflected in the warm-toned floor tiles, the neutral and steady rhythm is poured into the heart of the space by the sunlight. Inside the space, the lines that divide different areas are interlaced. The Spanish imported marble tiles are interspersed in this project. The warm white background acts as the quiet music, and the dramatic spices of marble are the tunes.

The design team took the white color as the main theme to match the neutral and warm home space. Plenty of metal hardware is covered with Moru glass, wooden veneer, special Italian paint to show the metal texture. The distributed Spanish ceramic flooring makes the overall vision more elegant. The black mirror on the ceiling hides the height limitation created by the low beam, and under the change of diverse materials, the advantage of each party is used to achieve a warm and harmonious space atmosphere.
The original layout of this project is somewhat different from the client's needs. So that it is necessary to re-plan the layout and the circulation, making it into three-bedrooms and a dining room enough for gatherings, and the needs of a spacious and warm atmosphere, to achieve balance design. In the design team's plan, besides the layout and style, a Feng Shui aquarium design was also added. It does not occupy much space but located at the center of the public space, which is brilliantly integrated into this project.
The project was completed in August 2020 in Zhubei City, Taiwan.
In the planning of the dining room circulation, a corner couch is specially set since this project is located on the 12th floor. People can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hsinchu City, with a wide and comfortable view suitable to welcoming and entertaining guests. The aquarium on the side of the couch brings more beauty to space and also becomes a space divider. Keeping the original layout and focus on the door piece selection, using the retro and modern embossing of Moru glass, and matching the color of the public space materials.
The overall white color in the space responds to the appearance of light and shadow brought by the different periods of time and supplemented by the wooden color. The iron materials are covered with white paint to integrate with the overall space color. Using low-tone furniture color to blend in, patterned ceramic flooring, and stone bricks that give both cooling and warming characteristics, joining the TV wall of the living room and the entrance to deepen the design vocabulary.
Since the client clearly understands the concept of future living trends, the design team extends the design with intelligence technology and separate living and working areas. the design concept of the overall white space, using cold materials such as metals to cover the space in order to match the marble ceramics flooring and creating balance with both warm and cold feeling. The overall wooden colors, reversely creating a gray-scale warm atmosphere. The integration of intelligence technology enhances the living experience.
