Urban Design for kalbod studio
The Seaside Town project is defined by five types of villas, each of which has its own characteristics that distinguish it from the others. But at the same time, the idea and physical program follows almost the same principles. With the help of each volume orientation, all villas benefit from views of both the city and the sea. As for privacy matters based on the location and culture the site provides, it was required to make sure each building and its views will not hurt other villas’ privacies or views, the buildings are close to each other by only one elevation that does not have any doors.

Unique Properties
In this project, with the help of volume’s rotations, all villas benefit from suitable views and lots of perspective . Neighbors do not have view to one another.(they turn their back on each other.)While each unit is formed in the relation to it’s neighbors and together they form a coherent and unit puzzle, in such a way that if even one villa is removed from the site, the coherence of the complex will be lost.

Production Technology
In this project, our emphasis has been on the relationship between surfaces and forms.Therefore, the purity of the volumes was very important and because of that, micro cement is used for the final layer to create a pure and white coating
Design Challenge
.one of the most important challenge that we faced to it `we need too many parkings limits for villas during vacations . We placed some of them in the remaining space between all 4 modules that were combined. Therefore, both positive and negative spaces are combined and complement each other
Project Duration
this project is designd in may 2021 & the construction began in february in the north of the iran & is set to end the next 2 years
Operation Flow
In creation of an architectural plan of the seaside town, with consideration of facing a set of volumetric masses; at the beginning, our confrontation with volumes was in a narrative way as if volumes are figures which were formed in the reaction of one another and also the formation of surfaces has been abstracted from the social interaction of their masses
Research
we researched about the climate & tried to find a way to use air circulation for decreasing hiumidity by spacing villas. Also the rotation of volumetric masses has been formed due to have wider perspective.
Inspiration
In a villa town, one of the most important things is the scenic view, and at the same time to block the neighbor ’s view to the inner space. So we use rigidity and rotation to achieve both
