The design creates a tactful public space system, and forms Chinese classical garden-like landscape via the transition of gardens, streets and courtyards. The project features large area of private gardens, and the integration of buildings and gardens. Most residential units occupy about 666 sqm, and some corner units cover more area. This project is positioned as an upscale Chinese-style residential development catering to those who pursue Chinese traditional culture and a quality life.

Natural materials including solid wood and stone are largely used in the constructions. The Chinese classical details, such as corridors, column, arches, hangings, purlins, rafters, etc., are all made of logs. In order to enhance the quality of building, the entrance and the second-floor walls are clad in dry-hanging stones rather than paint. Those stones are elaborately carved and endowed with Chinese-style textures.
As an updated version of Chinese-style villa, its highlight lies in how to deal with the relationship among architecture, environment and users in the most appropriate way. The optimized house type stresses the interaction between courtyard and building and the introduction of landscape into the interiors. Moreover, the fence is artfully designed to ensure high privacy of each household.

The project interprets a generation process of classic Chinese garden, drawing on advantages of Greentown's Chinese-style villas like Yunqi Rose Garden and Jiang Nan Li, so as to present the best effect. Architectural details including roof, eave, door and window, upturned roof corner, etc., are elaborately designed to realize a harmonious scale. The whole building enjoys delicate detailed parts, well echoing the classic Chinese gardens.
The classic Chinese garden is famous for its elegant and modest atmosphere. The layout is regular and square with the free arrangement of halls and yards, highlighting the pursuit of freedom. The building enjoys open and spacious spaces with blocks intersected, showing a sense of layering. It satisfies functional needs as well as acts as a venue where people can cultivate emotion. Taking account of various aspects, the design aims to improve the artistic effect of natural landscape.
Taoyuan Town, located in the section of Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City, not only witnesses the rising of this super new area, but also coexists and progresses with it, sharing its every moment of glory. The energy from the future is also continuously influencing the life atmosphere and potential possibilities of this residential development. Developed by Greentown, the project devotes to depicting the ideal idyllic life for the middle class.
