Commercial Space for Yun Pin design
The space is decorated with classical, antique, rusty texture and thick wooden trim. In addition, by compressing the size of the storage cabinets, the space is refined to provide perfect storage. The designer also used herringbone flooring and linear guttering to create a well-defined space. This project is a blend of retro and novelty, which is a break from the impression of the standard, and also echoes the name of the store "Gato" (the Spanish word for cat) through the cat paintings.

The goal of this renovation is to create a harmonious coexistence between the old house and the new design. Different from other commercial spaces, this project is a complex space, including a shoe exhibition and sale, coffee and dining, bar, and cigar collection. At the same time, the designer has cleverly planned the space by placing modern cat paintings from the client's collection, and the new antique elements also give the space a distinctive touch. For example, the Italian terrazzo stone in the bar, with its natural holes and matte texture, restores the timelessness of natural texture.
Jazz, Complex, Leather repair studio, Bar, Cafe.
Laminate flooring, Italian special paint, terrazzo, solid wood veneer ceiling, copper colored faux rust piping, rusty, hand painted, faux architectural concrete texture, solid wood stain, red tile, carved mirror, black textured toilet. This renovation not only considers the demands of the complex commercial space but also preserves some of the characteristics of the original base. In addition, the rust, wood, and bronze colors have created a tone of old and new.
The original height of the house was only 2.7 meters, so it gave people a feeling of oppression. In addition, it is a forty year old house with many angles and scars on the walls. Considering the condition of the house, the designer kept the ceiling piping and used copper paint to maintain the feeling of openness while using antique design and wood tones to form the space. Finally, the client's favorite cat painting was placed on the wall, presenting a classical style and yuppie trend, which is very different from the original base.
The project finished in January 2020 in Taiwan.
The store is for gentlemen to enjoy the quality of life and meet, and commercial space for shoes, wine, coffee, and cigars. The designer has created a space that meets the expectations and needs of the customer through smooth spatial planning and subtle turns of path. Furthermore, through the techniques and materials such as solid wood and yellow earth. And The designer created an exotic and mysterious atmosphere for the space, this has even made the store a pleasant space where many non VIP customers would come to.
In the classical atmosphere, the designer specially used red elements to echo the color of the store sign to bring out a lively atmosphere. The red color accents in the antique space complement each other, which in turn has a noble atmosphere. In the end, this store becomes a leisure space for all gentlemen who love leather shoes, wine, and coffee. It is a place where people can escape from busy business and life chores and share ideas with friends.
The designer continues the characteristics of the old house, creating a vintage atmosphere through the imitation of old, hand painted, and rusty tracery. On the other hand, the gentle color echoes the leather goods on display in this commercial space. It seems to reveal the solidity in the delicate texture and deepens the character and impression of the products through the space. Moreover, the red elements create a distinctive space design by contrasting the bright colors with the old atmosphere, making the project unique.
