Commercial Space for Center Interior Design
The designer kept the large glass windows in the house and combined the natural texture of the wooden frames and curtains as a color extension to maximize the greenery of the outdoors in the room. In this way, it not only brings a touch of visual relaxation but also provides a lot of natural bright light, reducing artificial lighting. With the change of seasons, people inside the house can deeply feel the change of time through the transformation of the scenery outside. In such a space, the beauty of nature is readily available.

When renovating the house into a multi-faceted complex, the designer reduced the number of walls and partitions to minimize the visual obstruction in the small space. The ground floor is in a modern European style, while the second floor has a more flexible display area with Oriental Zen elements and wooden grilles. Even if clients who love to collect various kinds of artworks acquire different styles of art collections or artworks from all over the world in the future, they will not look out of place in the space.

Building materials: Italian mineral eco-friendly paint, wood grain tiles, iron parts, wood grating, trims, baking paint, EGGER board. The three curved levels on the first floor extend from the smooth lines of the facade to the ceiling. Their edges are painted in gold with gentle lighting, and their appearance resembles ginkgo leaves with natural vitality. The walls of the staircase and the first and second floors are hand-painted with mineral paint to create a delicate pattern of flowers and plants. Both tactile and visual experiences can be different depending on the light source and angle at the time.
On the ground floor, the ceiling is staggered with three curved levels that extend from the smooth lines of the facade to the ceiling. The light and the color of the paint are carefully matched to make the ceiling design look like a ginkgo leaf with natural vitality, echoing the large greenery of the courtyard inside and out. Meanwhile, the designer turned the common visual defects of beams and columns into design highlights. The gold lacquer is used on the edges of the ceilings to create a subtle and delicate cladding and to modify the oppressive feeling brought by the drainage pipes on the second floor under the light.
The project finished in August 2019 in Taiwan.
The space is a renovation of a residence. The designer had to solve the original layout of a small space and many partitions and to meet the client's demand of displaying various styles of artwork. The designer chose to reduce the partitions and make the space more visually expansive with large glass windows. In addition, the designer combined modern European and American, Oriental Zen, and minimalist styles on each floor to increase the diversity.
Ware Elegance is a complex space that combines dining, porcelain, furniture, and artwork display. The first floor is a cafe, and the second floor is an exhibition area. There is also an outdoor courtyard on the first floor. The designer has made good use of the large windows to bring in the greenery outside. Like a dynamic landscape, the windows are a link to the outside environment. The scenery crosses the frame and brings the message of the seasons to the people inside.
Ware Elegance is a complex space that combines dining, porcelain, furniture, and artwork display. And it is with a diverse aesthetic experience. The designer's original intention is to create an aesthetically pleasing space that is sustainable and humanistic, and to convey the design concept that 'space is art and art is space'.
