Retail Shop for KONSTANTINOS GKAGKOS
The design study was done with the aim of the project being reminiscent of a traditional mansion in the heart of the island. The visitor is confronted with a special aspect of the store due to the arches that adorn the window. An important place in the plan was the stately cellar of the store. An element that contributed to the atmosphere of the space was the application of classic chandeliers that intensify the island style to the fullest.

Unique Properties
The architectural design was done with the purpose of making the project resemble an old mansion in the centre of the island. So when one views the project for the first time one is confronted with an imposing shop because of the archways that grace the window. An important place in the design was the store's cellar also known as the fortress. The design method used is to make this place resemble a classic traditional cellar.

Production Technology
This project was designed with the idea of harmonizing the island element with an old mansion. The element of metal and wood was used heavily while aged earth tones surround the interior and exterior of the store. The choice and placement of leather furniture equally gives the feel of a traditional mansion. On the exterior the imposing arches add the island touch giving it the prestige it deserves.
Design Challenge
The challenge of the store was to successfully combine the island element with an old classic mansion cellar. The aim was to create a unique project as a landmark of the beach leaving behind the best impressions and at the same time satisfying the expectations of the customer.
Project Duration
The project started in April 2022 and finished in July 2022.
Inspiration
The architectural design of Zafiri Cava Deli was made to resemble an old mansion in the centre of the island. The imposing arches decorate the storefront. The interior is characterized by a harmonious design of metal and wood combined with aged colour tones. The metal staircases inside help with functionality and are reminiscent of an old library. Τhe three balconies give the view of the store from above while the installation of the emblematic chandeliers intensify the island element.
