Restaurant for Konstantinos Gkagkos
The aim of this project was to create an area which would provide something fresh in Design with high aesthetics and finesse. The multidimensional decoration uses a wide range of materials, with several glam elements and whispers from art deco, with golden metallic details, the velvet, the marble in green shade and the dark color range to be consistent with the final result. As always, emphasis has been given to the lighting of the space, internally and externally, which gives a relief and evocative result by emphasizing the architectural details.

Unique Properties
As a designer decided not use details of rustic, outdated and self-evident traditional elements and moved in a direction of high aesthetics and finesse given through the multidimensional decoration, utilizing a wide range of materials which finally consider to have found their ideal place in space.

Production Technology
The restaurant consists of three different parts: the entrance, bar area, the seating- table area and the open space kitchen. Working in multileveled decoration styles has been used a wide range of materials as golden metallic elements, green marble, velvet luxurius fabrics and several glam and art deco details. Also, it has been used different sources of lighting to emphasize on the architectural details.
Design Challenge
The challenge in this project, was not to create something similar to what one is used to ecxept for under the title of 'Italian Restaurant' in terms of architecture and design. The aim was to create an area which it would rather provide something fresh and distinctive than usual. Deriving inspiration from the Italian culture the team delivered a project of high aesthetics.
Project Duration
The designing process was completed in June 2021 and the construction began in July and completed in November of 2021.It is located in Nea Smyrni,Athens,Greece

The restaurant consists of three different parts: the entrance, bar area, the seating- table area and the open space kitchen.
Research
The design team focused on creating a modern and innovative trend of interior decoration, as we tried to introduce nature and the color green in everyday life, offering feelings of relaxation, calm and friendliness to the viewer.
Inspiration
Drawing inspiration from the Italian tradition and without rustic or outdated elements we delivered a space with high aesthetics and finesse. The seating area being able to adapt to the weather can fully function as an open space for the clients to enjoy sunny days and fresh air. Α luxurius atmosphere has been created by a personalised approach. Thanks to the unique gold pizza wooden ovens the space gives to the customers the soothing feeling of the traditional Italian food.
