The designer skillfully incorporated textured gray artistic paints and wood grain to create a wabi-sabi style that blends seamlessly throughout the space, including the bathroom. Natural wood furniture and carefully chosen plants add to the tranquil ambiance. The minimalist living room TV wall features a protruding panel that conceals cables, offering a simple yet sophisticated look. With a focus on decluttering, the design incorporates simplicity in every detail. A custom three-sided, full-height cabinet serves as both storage and a boundary between areas, showcasing practical minimalism and a flowing sense of order.

Materials: solid wood, artistic paint, phoenix tree, wooden Flooring The color scheme primarily features earthy tones. Combined with natural wood grain, it creates a warm and harmonious atmosphere. The meticulous brushwork and craftsmanship applied to the ceiling and walls by skilled artisans endow the space with texture and uniqueness. This combination emphasizes the natural beauty of the materials, adding a rustic and elegant touch. The project reflects the designer's attention to detail and his understanding and interpretation of color and material.
The designer aimed for seamless transitions between areas, making color selection and coordination crucial steps. A significant amount of time was spent ensuring that each color choice was perfect, creating a consistent and harmonious atmosphere whether during the day or night. During the hand-painting process, the craftsmen needed to maintain the set depth and texture. Each brushstroke had to be meticulous to ensure the result met the envisioned effect.
The project finished in June 2023 in Taiwan.
The designer customized the storage for the homeowner. The three-sided cabinet in the entrance serves not only as daily storage but also as a boundary between different areas. According to the homeowner's needs, the designer planned a simple and unadorned layout. In some spaces and furniture arrangements, open, movable, and detachable items are retained for flexibility. The designer created a home that is uniquely tailored to the homeowner and perfectly embodies the essence of wabi-sabi aesthetics.
The name 'Tranquility' reflects a design rooted in simplicity and serenity, offering a peaceful escape from the city's hustle. The earthy tones, gray-scale artistic paint, and wooden furniture embody wabi-sabi principles. The space is defined by simplicity, with natural light softly illuminating raw textures on the walls, complemented by matte steel-brushed wood and wooden flooring. A protruding wall panel behind the TV serves as both a functional and aesthetic focal point, while plants and artwork add to the serene atmosphere, creating a restful sanctuary for the soul.
Inspired by the homeowner's desire to have a space for relaxation amid the fast-paced, busy city life, the design focuses on creating a sanctuary for unwinding. Reflecting the homeowner's lifestyle philosophy and minimalist practice, the overall design emphasizes streamlined storage solutions. The earthy color palette incorporates natural textures, with the designer's unique perspective interpreting the wabi-sabi style. The project aims to lead life back to simplicity through design, isolating it from external chaos to provide the residents with genuine rest.
