Luxury Residential Apartments for ZERO9

The Building consists of Luxury Apartments, one apartment on each floor and two duplex apartments. The internal floor plate is column free and allows complete flexibility to design the interiors. Each apartment gains maximum cross ventilation and day light with its open design scheme. The apartment also is designed with a balcony on east facade to bring in the best sun energy during the early hours of the day.

Production Technology

The apartments are made with Post tensioned slabs

Design Challenge

The Restriction of height was major challenge in this project as the plot location was under airport funnel zone. we managed to get 5 podiums and 10 floors with the help of Post Tension Slabs.

Project Duration

the project is located in Juhu, Mumbai. The project started in 2020 and finished in December 2024.

Operation Flow

The project was carried out in a span of 4 year by excaving the basement floors and then further building the main structure.

Research

The beam depths in each apartment reduced the usable space for interiors and hence we used Post Tensioned Slabs to avoid beams and provide maximum space to the end user. The spaces were also designed coloumn free to ensure maximum flexibility for the end user to plan the home as per their desire.

Inspiration

Mumbai Apartments are usually small and tiny, Hence we wanted to give the luxury vibe to this project with large columnfree spaces and a private lift coming into your home. The large open windows bring lot of day light.

4.56 JVPD Luxury Residential Apartments has been a Iron winner in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design award category in the year 2024 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
