One Verdi Park is a landmark mixed-use development redefining Bucharest’s skyline. The two towers integrate high-end residences, offices, and retail spaces, merging innovative design with sustainability. A bold structural approach enables panoramic views, while premium materials enhance elegance. The project prioritizes urban connectivity and green spaces, offering a seamless blend of luxury and functionality, setting a new benchmark for contemporary city living. Construction started during the pandemic, prompting a significant shift in plans. Originally intended as an office building, the first tower was converted into residential apartments. This timely decision was made after design phases were completed and the three basement levels were built, marking the beginning of the FAST FORWARD CONVERSION project.

Production Technology
One Verdi Park is built on a robust structural system of reinforced concrete pillars and beams, ensuring stability and efficiency. The façade features a ventilated system with a white fiber cement finish, providing durability, thermal performance, and a refined aesthetic. High-performance glazing enhances acoustic and energy efficiency, while BIM methodologies optimized design coordination. Prefabrication and modular construction techniques were employed to streamline execution and minimize waste.
Design Challenge
The creative challenge of One Verdi Park stemmed from the need to adapt the design in response to external factors, including the pandemic. Initially conceived as an office building, the first tower was converted into residential apartments after construction had already begun, with the three basement levels completed. This shift prompted a significant change in planning and design, while maintaining the towers’ connection via a sky garden and retail platform. Overcoming this challenge involved rethinking space usage and ensuring a seamless transition to an elevated residential experience.
Project Duration
The project started in 2020 in Bucharest and finished in 2023.
Operation Flow
One Verdi Park offers a seamless experience by integrating living, working, and leisure spaces in a dynamic urban setting. The two towers maximize natural light and panoramic views, enhancing comfort and well-being. The ventilated façade improves energy efficiency, while smart design ensures smooth circulation between functions. Green terraces and shared spaces foster interaction, creating a balanced, modern lifestyle that adapts to residents' and professionals' evolving needs.
Research
The research for One Verdi Park focused on urban integration, energy efficiency, and high-rise living. The objective was to create a functional, sustainable, and visually striking mixed-use development. Using case studies, simulations, and BIM analysis, we assessed structural efficiency, environmental impact, and user experience. Insights from architects, engineers, and urban planners shaped the design, resulting in an optimized, future-ready development that enhances city living and real estate value.
Inspiration
One Verdi Park was inspired by Bucharest’s dynamic transformation and the need for a sophisticated urban landmark. The design merges architectural innovation with functionality, drawing from global best practices in high-rise living and sustainable development. Research in vertical density, energy efficiency, and urban integration guided the project, ensuring optimal use of space, natural light, and premium materials to create a refined, future-oriented living and working environment.
