Residence for Chongqing Micro VIEW Decoration Co,.Ltd
The designers construct the building and build the negative floor on the outdoor garden, forming the 700- square-meter public activity space that faces the landscape area. By using patios and many large-scale French windows, problems such as natural lighting and ventilation of public space are solved. At the same time, the natural landscape in the area are fully displayed.

The project is located in a beautiful valley with glorious scenery and fresh air. As a vacation villa, the house needs a large number of bedrooms for the host and guests to live in. It is hoped that the public areas and each bedroom can enjoy the benefits of the natural environment to the greatest extent, so that the residents are able to enjoy the natural landscape in the valley. At the same time, the designers hope to use natural lighting and natural ventilation as much as possible, instead of providing air conditioning and light through artificial equipment. The designers aim to create a natural and green living environment.

Designers reconstructed the new basement as public activity area in the best landscape section. By adding the patio, good natural ventilation and lighting was secured. Designers rebuilt the garden in the roof of the basement. Designers set up eleven comfortable bedroom suites that satisfied the owner's demands. The design details embodied the personal traits of the owner. Designers used scenery borrowing technique, integrating the beautiful outdoor view with the interior space.
One of the challenges is how to let users enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery and screen out the messy parts surround the building, because the landscape of the outdoor garden is the best partition in the original structure, but the surrounding environment of the building is comparatively messy, which is adjacent to the road and neighborhoods. Another challenge is that the owner requires the designers to set up more than eleven bedrooms with good lighting, excellent ventilation and best view.
The project is located in Qingfengyashui Community, North Gate of Black Valley Scenic Area, Wansheng District, Chongqing. The design cycle for the project starts in March 2017 and finishes in June 2017. The project embarks on June 2017 and ends on June 2018.
The designers enlarged the original landscape, which previously only had the outdoor garden facing the mountain landscape, and now it was expanded into an indoor public activity hall and an outdoor roof garden facing the landscape, All interior space have good ventilation and lighting, especially in the public activity hall on the basement first floor. The designers set up a central patio on the basement first floor, providing fresh air flow and natural light to all the interior space.
The project makes great effort to maximize the introduction of natural scenery, while at the same time tries to minimize the interference of other buildings. It is required to have enough public space and guestrooms. Patio combined with the use of multiple light wells. A newly-built rectangular pavilion in the garden serves as a frame to emphasize the landscape. The designers adopt simple design language to lay stress on natural landscape, they also use a large number of borrowing technique, making the indoor and outdoor integrated with each other. The interior design symbol incorporates elements of the owner's personal qualities.
After experiencing the glorious landscape of the project area and fresh air, the designers named the design project Poem of Wind and Light. In Chinese, wind refers to air flow and also means landscape. Light refers to luminous beam. The theme of this project Poem of Wind and Light refers to introduce natural landscape, fresh air and natural light into the room, bringing users a poetic experience.
