The light and shadow that on lamp source shines a wooden strip changes, building a kind of irregular and the light and shadow effect that follows a gender. A sense of freedom lies in the seemingly regular structure that resembles a piece of flame burning.

In the process of creation, mainly facing the selection of materials, the wooden strips of the living room walls need to make a curved effect to create a light and shadow effect, thus through the use of the light and dark refraction of light to create a dreamy imagination space. Moreover, such as the treatment of the wooden cutter head, the problem of wood deformation, and the difficulty of producing wood strips over three meters, etc.
The project is finished by concept in April, 2019 in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
The process of communication with Party A is very smooth. We combine the geographical location and cultural background of South China to express the feelings of the East with modern design techniques.
Through the light and shadow changes of the bamboo forest to show the beautiful oriental implicit and freehand. And the curved effect of the wooden strip adds a sense of design to the change of light and shadow, and the freedom and irregularity add an atmosphere to the space design. The overall atmosphere tends to bring calm to the people in it.
Inspiration comes from the designer's childhood memory of the bamboo forest in Jiangnan Water Township of China. The subtle beauty of the East permeates this case, with the breeze of the bamboo sea took myself in representing the delicate sense of wabi-sabi.
