Residence for Truefull Land
Through the design, this project has elevated the meaning of home, which is not merely a place to live in, but much more than that. A home is now a place to be explored and expected. With the environment and elements of nature being infused into the architectural and interior design, space radiates the rays of elegance and distinction. The way back home is as if the path in a forest with summer winds breezing through. The aroma of woods pervades the space, and the totems on the floor guide the travelers on the way back home.

With an open space that can be shared with the neighbors, the building becomes part of the local community. The architecture itself becomes a vista on the street where people can wander and be reminded of homes. The poetic space takes the image of verdant hills and grooving mountains as inspiration and infuses the natural elements into aesthetics, therefore forms a new lifestyle.

On the open ground floor, the continuously French windows introduce the outside scenery, connecting the two sides of the windows. Sufficient natural lights that light up the whole space, alongside the gentle natural color palettes create a sense of calmness and humbleness. The design comes from a place of respecting nature and the environment around, and of the humbleness towards humanity.
Public utilities are designed to meet various needs, such as the reading room, the gallery, the gym, the playroom, the yoga room. This allows the residents to build a domain of living within the neighborhood. To keep a cozy living environment and interaction with the neighbors, a large-scale greenfield is preserved as the park on both the north and south wings of the building. These parks offer a place for the residents to communicate. The six units of the store on the south wing are separated from the residency, which keeps the convenient yet rather quiet ambiance.
The project was finished in June 2026 in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
The hidden indirect lightings match the well-proportioned dark openings, and an environmentally conscious green building with spectacular lighting is built. The layers of the space blend the functionality into aesthetics as well as nature into space. The poetic space of heterotopia is a perfect interpretation of a city of glocalization and the monument of the green city highlighting biotechnology and the sustainability of the culture of Zhubei.
Tiles that symbolize the integrated circuit are applied vertically on the facade of the building, referencing the importance of the local industry. Together with the horizontal sunshades, the light glass, and hardware balustrades, a symbiosis relationship is established. The interior design is themed with geometry, with the lighting inspired by lighthouses and "torii", both of which are symbols of guidance for travelers.
In this busy modern life, it's a luxury to slow down and take a moment to enjoy the ray of sunrise or the beautiful dawn. In this project, the value of the space is created by the groundbreaking attitude toward space with an out-of-box layout that provides an elegant ambiance through the public utilities. By humanizing the designs for a more organic sensation, the delicacies are designed to reward the hard work in lives.
