Showroom for Herabenna
The design statement “less is more” is as a guide for this design effort. The living space mostly appears in black and white colors; white plaster walls, marble floor and painted stainless panel bands compose an abstract painting in a tranquil air. Wood furniture pieces in right positions enhance the intimate comfort and all the interior beauty is set in front of nature which is invited in by windows and skylights. The designer proclaims that mountain should not be restrained by physical isolation but rather to live the same as in the city yet surrounded by nature.

In Mogan Mountain, nature is the only protagonist. From architecture to interior design, the main idea is to be close to nature and feel nature. The interior design strives to create a comparable indoor living environment, so that the residents can feel the magnificence of the landscape and the authenticity of nature from indoor. At this time, the residents are the only protagonists.

The stairwell is made of warm logs, and the sculpture falling from the ceiling like a drop of water falling into the black disc below. The black water droplets hanging in the air are composed of irregular black blocks of wood, which are made by discarded wood from the construction site. Designer wants to advocate an environmentally friendly lifestyle in this way. The lampshade of dining room lighting is made of Barrisol, which has good light transmittance, various shapes and strong plasticity.
The main challenge is how to integrate the essence of art into the design concept, integrate the indoor and outdoor environment, reduce the damage to the natural scenery, and allow the residents to integrate into the nature physically and mentally. The solution is to use modern design language to bring the relaxed and artistic atmosphere into the interior, let the natural environment integrate into the interior through skylight and windows. natural forms of materials used to make the villa "concealed" in the landscape.
The project was completed in May 2018. Located in Jun An Li Resort, Mogan Mountain Huzhou City, Zhejiang China.
Residents can feel that they are integrated with the nature of Mogan Mountain. White marble floors, large areas of white walls in the interior, combined with log furniture and stairs, draw more attention to the scenery outside the window. Sitting on the soft texture sofa, a cup of tea, a book, listening to the sound of wind blowing leaves, enjoying a peaceful afternoon time.
Design comes from life. Integrate some elements of life, some related things into the design. The designer visited the local culture and materials on the spot, and conceived the concept of the scheme. Strive to fully integrate into nature, leaving no trace. Take the original local materials, simple display. Presenting nature with nature.
In contemporary residential design, more and more attention has been paid to the personal experience of the occupants, but in this Jun An Li project which located in Mogan Mountain, we should draw the attention to human and nature coexist in harmony. Designer follow the design principle of returning to nature, dwelling with the concept of "less is more", and seek simplicity. Luxury to the extreme is a sense of ease and quiet.
