Office and Cultural Space for FUNS DESIGN
An old tree has inspired the infinite creativities of coexistence between human and nature. The designer establishes the landscape of courtyard in the enclosed space, in which the atmosphere of the undisturbed quiescence from the modern technology and of the changes of seasons create the mild flow of indoor air and the comfy experience of temperature. The designer presents the design concept of "elegant and plain home" by the one-of-a-kind design logic and life aesthetics, making the all-out effort to design the office with the interdependent relationship between human homes and nature.

The design plan considering the people senses to the spatial elements of shapes, materials, colors and textures lead people to encounter their own emotions, essences, true selves and moods, thus people will aware of the importance of natural protections, and furthermore establishing the interdependent relationship between human and nature.
For the hardest part of this project is to bring something unique that no one has ever done before into the indoor space. To accomplish this task, the designer creates a courtyard view in a closed space for the owner to experience the four seasons and to feel gentle indoor air flow and comfortable temperature without even leaving the indoor space and the disturbance of modern technology.
The project finished on the 10th of July 2019 in Suzhou, China.
The office is not specifically designed by functions that is, however, constructed into the open and private, the plain and exquisite, the invigorating and serenity, etc. The designer simplifies the design plan that, by means of controlling the temperature and humidity, delicately divides the limited indoor space into the three halls with distinct sizes and functions, which are accordingly wide and bright, flowing and enlivening, and natural and interactive. The floors elevated in different heights, corresponding to the other spatial elements, manifest the flexible relationships enhancing the smooth air flow.
The halls are decorated with the tall wood grille walls, which are expanded to the grille adornments in other areas, thus grille design showing the individual but continuous, various and intriguing indoor scenes, which are willingly embraced by the people with different moods, thus every scene can bring about distinguishing and constant characteristics of space.
