Design Challenge

How to break through the U-shaped architectural space layout and the plain space experience in design, by creating a space experience of fluidity, rhythm and interest through the use of curves, and blur the sense of fixedness of the traditional physical space boundary, Let light, nature and interior express themselves in different forms and integrate them into one, thus creating an aesthetic art space that uses landscape to read visitors.

Project Duration

It was completed in August, 2019, which had lasted for 40 days, it was located in Shunyi, China.

Operation Flow

Step into the lobby space where you want to promote and suppress, follow the flowing curved lines of art from the art gallery into the central exhibition area, as the curves of nature and light and shadow disappear into the art landscape, and are separated by the streamlined curve The light and shadow gallery space is surrounded by light and shadow along the curve to the water VIP. It dilutes the boundary between space and space, and gives new spatial attributes to flow, nature, light and shadow. Create an immersive aesthetic flow curve space, walk through it, and create a scene of rhythm, fun, and relaxed interactive conversation.

Research

"Unbounded" first crosses the boundary, and then eliminates the boundary in a soft way. Breaking the inherent rules of traditional sales offices, crossing the boundaries of architecture, landscape, and space, and borrowing streamlined curves, the flow-like separation and convergence will penetrate and merge the boundaries of the three, creating new possibilities.

Inspiration

Peach Blossom Spring says that there is a small gap in the mountain, as if there is light existed. Tao Yuanming's eagerness to return home is to watch on a lone boat hundreds of miles away.
