This case is located in Guiyang city of Guizhou province, the city geomorphology belongs to the plateau mountain of southwest China. This case is a single-family villa, built against the lake, backed by the terraced terrain, lying on the back between the forest and the lake breathing. Designers from the architecture, landscape, interior of a full range of transformation, optimization and reorganization. The building, like a warm stone box, floats lightly among the trees.
Art and space, modern and nature, sustainable housing, natural symbiosis, poetic dwelling
For the appearance, on the basis of the original material of the facade, the fixed basic material is reasonably retained, while volcanic stone, outdoor wood grille and partition are added to form the contrast of the surface line. The secondary coverage of the wooden grille is delicate and soft, the arrangement and comparison of the lines and the overall collocation, coupled with the roughness and expansiveness of the volcanic stone, perfectly presents the beauty of nature in artistic language. By capturing the light in the space, the interior has enriched the expression of materials. Different functional spaces cleverly use different surface treatments of natural stone and warm wood colors to speak the language of space. The fine metallic finish is compatible with stone and soft wall cloth. Landscape gardening takes landscape as the theme. The natural gap between the front garden and the back garden forms a roundabout garden. The limited space and the surrounding environment are utilized to display the landscape paintings in the garden.
This case from the design to the construction has passed more than three years, every step of detailed elaboration, space subdivision, structural changes, spatial relations were strictly controlled.
The project started in 2016 and finished in November 2019 in Guiyang, Gui Zhou Province.
The building is open and clear with floor-to-ceiling glass facing the lake, offering panoramic views. The entrance is partly shaded by greenery, which also blocks the view of the lake, thus creating a suspense. The first floor and half-underground of the first floor are empty for shared activities of living, while the second floor and above are private spaces such as master bedroom, study and fitness. The staircase is decorated with FLOS ring combination lighting installation, which is smart and full of vitality, so that the space presents an interesting picture combination through the walking in the staircase from any angle. The original works of many artists are dotted here, giving the space life and soul. Balance space with proper scale and proportion, improve artistic conception and harmonize with nature.
