The design of the whole project has a distinct differentiation from the lobby to the corridor to the rooms. The public area is interesting with rich designs, the color is light and lively. The room pays more attention to create a quiet rest atmosphere.

We use a simple game that contains the common memories of adults and children to connect parent-child interactions. At the same time, the tubular shaped device can conceal some cables, making the lobby look neat and tidy.
The challenge is that although the project itself is a parent-child theme hotel, it occasionally welcomes business people during the off-season. Therefore, the space needs to meet the needs and experience of these two different groups. Therefore, we did not bother about the hard decoration part in the guest room, but adopted an overall clean, fresh and warm design style. Just decorate the space with some childlike and colorful furniture, so that simply moving the furniture can shape the space into a space suitable for business people.
The project finished in June 2019 in Zhejiang,China.
The tubular device has different openings at different heights, allowing people of different ages to participate. Taking into account the characteristics of different groups of people, we have set up different travel lines for adults and children. Parents can go upstairs through elevators, and children can go up and down through small tree houses and big slides. This satisfies their inherently active nature.
The design of parent-child theme hotels often pays too much attention to the entertainment facilities in the guest room, but not the public area. We hope to promote a concept that allows public area to carry more social attributes and entertainment, while the guest rooms are not so noisy, and suitable for rest. In addition, according to the needs of hotel owner, we also considered the differentiated needs of different groups of people, and tried to find a balance to meet their needs.
Inspired by the loudspeaker game that Chinese kids usually play, we've created an interesting hotel lobby with a simple concept. We hope that the public area of the hotel will be entertaining and meet the needs of both adults and kids, so that more parents and children can have intimate interaction here.
