Sales Center for CIMA DESIGN
The artistic hallway is characterized by a simplistic palette and forms as well as a lively atmosphere. The blue backdrop wall is decorated with the pictures of Nara Yoshitomo, seeming to give a glimpse of Wizard Oz's emerald castle on the green field. Sauntering in the artistic hallway, visitors would become the protagonists in fairy tales and immerse themselves in exploring mysterious childhood stories. The seemingly-endless exploration journey connects with the spatial narrative and brings about singular, fantastic visual experiences.

The LED screen at the property model area satisfies the basic function of display. A flexible and lively giraffe installation beside it pops its head out, adding playfulness to the space. The resting area is in tune with the overall design style. The space is strewn with cute artworks, which echo the colorful life in fairy tale. In the kids' activity area, the designer uses the three elements of sky, fairy tales and ocean. Cartoon elements and modern elements are combined and reinterpreted here.

Klein blue and white colors are perfectly matched, producing harmonious visual effects. The striking Klein blue becomes the visual focus of the whole space, while the white shade injects purity into it.
Almost all fairy tales involve unconstrained aesthetic taste and infinite imagination, which help to improve spatial vibe with details. Distinct from angular and cold design expressions, arc shape can better protect kids. The round form of castle visually presents a circular space, appearing like a dream castle in the West. The dramatic division of light and shadows realizes a sensory experience that interweaves solidness and void. All of above are challenges faced by this project.
Started in April, 2020; Completed in August, 2020; Location: Lane 36, Jinqiu Road, Baoshan District, Shanghai, China
The overall space adopts a large area of light tones and adds bright Klein blue. Based on it, we integrate the theme concept of childhood dream into the space. The concept is rhythmically injected by flowing circulation routes. A group of white bubble installations at the entrance takes people to a childhood dream journey. The large sculpture and the round sofa in Klein blue in the negotiation area endow the space with both fun and functions.

The designers unfolded a guided tour of fairy-tale scenes, and explored the wonderful world in the eye of kids. With a series of fantastic scenes, the space is turned into dreamland that brings people back to childhood. The designers integrated children's favorite bubble elements into all areas, at which well-arranged ball installations were dispersed and connected. The creative combination of circles and matrixes help build a castle for both adults and children to explore the unknown world.
