Indoor space is the spirit and soul of architecture. The project is in the hot spring area of Taipei. The design introduces unique natural resources and rich local culture and tries to use natural elements as the main elements of the space. From environment to building, building to interior, the overall interior it's carried out outside to inside. The materials are interlocked and echo each other to create a natural atmosphere so that the overall space has the most comfortable vocabulary.

The building uses granite stone, gardens, water features, and the introduction of natural light from the ceiling of the interior, plastics the environment and space aesthetics of natural stone caves. The team considers the linkage between architectural elements and indoor space, using solid wood, air-faced concrete, natural stone material, and light to collide. Make the area present a coherent vocabulary, enhance each indoor experience in vision, touch, and smell, creating a meditation effect.
The challenge in the project is how to make the unique natural resources set off the indoor space. The team thought about how the functional partitions of the various areas in the house can bring users a sense of entrepreneurial experience and challenge the team to use solid wood to get a warm touch and soft smell. Feel the visual hierarchy brought by the stone, and the light will guide the soul.
The project finished in January 2020 in Taipei City, Taiwan.
First, analyze the regional history and culture, and establish a series of spatial vocabulary and elements. Gradually systematically organize the environment and architectural appearance elements and interactively find a series of proper design contexts under the established conditions. The team will continue this context and blur the environment, architecture, and interior boundaries to create the warmest atmosphere.
Innovative design ideas aim to give spaces better functions and even improve and optimize the space. Interior design refers to the study and creation of architectural interior spatial features that plan and design the space, interface, furniture, furnishings, lighting, and other elements of the internal environment, as based on certain architectural space aesthetic principles and material-technical means for specific users, according to the building functions, the nature of use, the space psychological effects and the corresponding standards, in order to meet the human needs of material and spiritual life.
Inspired by the historical stories of Beitou, hot spring culture, and natural resources, Thinking about how to integrate biological and humanistic elements into the interior space. The three elements of logs, stone, and hot springs create a space between Japanese Zen and modern aesthetics. Create an ideal space, have vitality, breathe, talk to nature and humanities, Satisfy the desire of body and soul, sleep in the natural beauty and awaken your radiant self.
