Compared with building a landmark building, architects pay more attention to how to build a place that integrates with nature; This is different from traditional service-oriented buildings. Architects provide an open space where leisure or business activities can occur naturally; Different from the hard and cold image of concrete materials, they explored the softness of concrete materials in this project.

Mountain Sea Wind Hall adopts concrete shell structure; The thickness of the shell is 200 mm, and the gradual thickness of 200-500 mm is used locally. The project is an irregular curved structure, which is different from the conventional shell structure, and is between the flat plate and the arch shell; The area connected with the foundation is three corners&the middle area of one side, and the contact range is small, which brings some challenges to the structural design; Three tree-shaped steel columns are added in the area with large overhang and span height, adding a second line of defense for the stability of the overall structure.
The difficulty of the project is how to integrate the rich landscape resources around the site into the building, make it a beautiful viewing container, provide people with a rest space, and also make itself a landscape.
The project started in 2020 and finished in 2022 in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, China.
With concrete as the main material, Mountain Sea Wind Hall has a snack bar, a beverage table, a bathroom, and a rest step. It is a functional viewing space. The landscape seen from the inside of the "Mountain Sea Wind Hall" is a deliberately cut landscape. It is a container for viewing and a continuous space, providing shelter for people's body, spirit and vision.

The base is surrounded by mountains and there is a lake below. How to provide a container for viewing beautiful scenery becomes the inspiration of this case; The sea waves blown by the wind are abstractly solidified into continuous mountains. Mountain Sea Wind Hall is a purposely cut frozen fragment. The view from the inside of the project is also a purposely cut landscape. This is a container for viewing, a continuous space, providing shelter for people's body, spirit and vision.
