Restaurant for Parkview Green
Doors at the entrance open to a space of intense bright red. Tinted glass screens offer a sense of privacy. There are two areas: a main dining hall and a VIP lounge. The main hall is bright, with a self-service corner against a white stone wall in a wavy pattern. A ripple metal sculpture hangs from the ceiling. On the far right is the VIP lounge which has soft lighting and a cozy ambiance, with a living room and a dining corner partitioned by Andy Warhol's 'Marilyn Monroe' metal curtain. Overall, the artwork and decor showcase a contemporary and artistic vibe.

George’s Restaurant is built upon the aesthetics of art, incorporating elements from art galleries, aiming to showcase the idea of luxurious art, artistic luxury. Its design style blends nostalgia and modernity, embodying the spirit of contemporary art. The interior decorations and art pieces are comparable to exhibits in an art gallery. The iconic bright red color symbolizes vitality and passion, providing visual stimulation in a romantic atmosphere.
Asia Restaurant, Red, Luxury, Art, Modern European cuisine.
With red as its main color, the interior is decorated in white. While natural white stone can achieve the desired design effect, tabletops are often in frequent contact with hot dishes, and burn marks and cracking may result. It is also not as hard as other stone varieties. Cutting ingredients with metal kitchen tools can cause scratches and dents on the stone surface. Thus, the stones underwent crystal surface hardening treatment, which increased their hardness and reduced the risk of scratches.
The project started in September 2022 in Beijing, China, and finished in August 2023.
On the external glass curtain wall is a painting acting as a prelude. Stained glass screens above big clear windows add a sense of privacy. Against the white stone wall showing rolling waves are streamlined L-shaped tables, above which is a lively metal sculpture, Water Drops. Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe is made of a metal curtain in the VIP lounge. Put in a context of bright red, contrasting with white, steel, silver, and adorned with art pieces, the space accentuates sensory exploration.
Information is mainly provided by clients and from online research. Meanwhile, we also make use of our experience from previous design projects executed in Mainland China.
