At dawn, large floor-to-ceiling windows bring in natural light, which shifts throughout the day, reflecting brightly on the stainless steel TV wall. The metallic materials reveal the owner's cozy side, symbolizing an unfettered attitude toward life. Light and shadow move like sunlight on water, creating dynamic stillness. The designer focused on sustainability, with ventilation and lighting reflecting this. Fresh air flows freely, while light and shadow intertwine, expressing life's balance of lightness and bluntness.

The Charm of Dull Perseverance: The TV wall uses stainless steel to emphasize perseverance and modernity. The shifting light and shadow on the metal panel create depth, meeting the owner's desire for texture while contrasting with the elegant tones of the space. It shows a unique personality-strong outside, soft inside. The simple lines and metal surface highlight neat, stylish elements. Light Dreamy Display: The light film doll cabinet behind the dining table features a metal back panel. Soft lighting creates a unique light-and-shadow effect, giving the figures a dreamy floating feel, balancing warmth and metal's coolness.

Materials used in large areas include special coatings, metal surface materials, light films, slab tiles, tiles, and glass. The color scheme continues with metallic silver and gray. Special paint is used to provide a grayscale base, including the entire corridor and TV wall. The textured paint then reveals various levels of detail, such as the use of different glossy materials. The luster of metal, the elegance of tiles, and the lightness of glass create a home that is both modern and warm.
The project serves three adults and two children, so it requires storage space for daily necessities, toys, dolls, and other items. Designers must cleverly arrange storage rooms and cabinets without compromising the aesthetics. In addition, it is the application of the light film construction method for the cabinets. The depth of the cabinet is only 40 centimeters. The configuration and brightness arrangement of the lights require precise construction techniques to achieve a halo-like diffusion effect in extremely narrow conditions.
The project finished in December 2022 in Taiwan.
The owners are highly satisfied with the design, especially the open layout of the living and dining rooms, which allows the social area to accommodate up to 30 people-perfect for gatherings and meetings. The low-back sofa enhances flexible interaction. The designer not only focused on decorative aesthetics but also prioritized the residents' living conditions. The owners appreciate the efficient use of storage, with the storage room significantly improving convenience and solving the problem of organizing and storing items.
The project, named 'Life Blueprint,' reflects contrasting concepts. The designer used strong contrasts to mirror the owner's tough exterior and soft interior. The metal TV wall represents boldness, while large floor-to-ceiling windows capture varying daylight, symbolizing an unrestrained soul with warmth. The bedroom continues a minimalist style, with material shifts and lighting creating a relaxing space. Lightness reflects the rhythm of life, and bluntness is about embracing every moment. The design conveys optimism, making the occupants feel they deserve the best.
The site is an old apartment. After deeply understanding the owner's preferences, the designer created the project with a strongly contrasting style. Large areas of color blocks and stainless steel reflect the owner's personality of being strong on the outside and soft on the inside. In a quiet and flowing space, the complex is reduced to simplicity, giving the space a rich sense of hierarchy. The collision of material texture and color gives the space more vitality, thus showing 'the bluntness of the material, showing the lightness of life.'
