Production Technology
This case is located on the organic renewal site of Fenghuangshan in Yiwu, adjacent to the Yiwu River. It boasts landmarks of the municipal government, the Xiuhu commercial district, and urban green spaces such as the Jiangbin Green Corridor, Xiuhu Park, and Yiwu Ocean Park; On the south side, enjoy the CBD commercial district of the Economic Development Zone, while enjoying the bustling fireworks and tranquil poetry.
Design Challenge
As the background of the project, Fenghuangshan's unique terrain and natural environment bring both opportunities and challenges to the design. How to harmoniously integrate the indoor space of a building with the external environment while respecting nature and protecting the ecology is a problem that requires careful consideration.
Project Duration
From March 2024 to May 2024, on the west side of the intersection of Chouzhou West Road and Danxi Road in Yiwu City.
Operation Flow
Starting from project background research, through the formulation, review, and adjustment of preliminary and deepening design schemes, entering the construction preparation stage including drawing production, material procurement, and construction team preparation, then executing construction tasks and conducting on-site supervision and necessary scheme changes, followed by furniture and soft decoration selection and spatial layout, and finally passing acceptance and delivery for use.
Research
From the early stage of project approval, we conducted project research through site research, user research, literature review, questionnaire surveys, interviews, and other methods to collect target customers' living needs, habits, and aesthetic preferences, providing data support for design. And invite experts in the fields of architectural design, landscape planning, interior design, etc. for consultation to ensure the professionalism and feasibility of the design scheme.
Inspiration
The concept originated from the regional culture of Fenghuang Mountain in Yiwu, which is the city of Fenghuang. As the core hub of global trade transactions, Yiwu can be said to be a place where thousands of people come to court and hundreds of birds flock to the phoenix.The design concept revolves around the theme of welcoming the phoenix back to its nest, depicting the beautiful scene of hundreds of birds worshiping the phoenix by eliminating the overlap between natural forms and the site.
