The project, located in Pingyang County, is the exhibition hall and experience center of a coastal property development. The designers adopted an ocean-themed expression so as to create better user experiences to highlight the project's regional features and its function as an experience hall. Several independent functional divisions connect by a fluid circulation. Functional blocks are distinctive yet interpenetrated with each other, which enjoy its spatial atmosphere. Also the element of marine animals is extracted as the soul of design to decorate the whole experience center.

Unique Properties
Firstly, the project has several independent functional divisions connected by a fluid circulation. Functional blocks are distinctive yet interpenetrated with each other. Secondly, each functional space enjoys its unique spatial atmosphere. Thirdly, the element of marine animals is extracted as the soul of design to decorate the whole experience center, injecting the space with vitality.

Production Technology
The overall space uses large areas of beige stones. The main body is outlined by the stones via the architectural design method, hence highlighting the beauty of architectural structure. Dotted with handmade glass bricks with rippled texture, the interior space echoes the ocean-themed atmosphere. Moreover, the ceiling of the main hall is clad in LED panels, better creating a natural ambience for the property model display area. Materials: Stone, tile, wood, aluminum panel
Design Challenge
Due to tight schedule, heavy task and strict budget control, how to perfectly complete the project at a low cost and in a short time became a big challenge. Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic also brought great obstacles. How to overcome the adverse influences of the pandemic and complete the project safely was also challenging.

2019.11-2020.05 Locaion: Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China
Operation Flow
After being commissioned with the project, the designers kept close communication with the client, visited the site to investigate site conditions and local cultural features, and carried out the design at functional and spiritual levels simultaneously. During construction, the team carefully selected cost-effective materials that could best embody the design concept, optimized techniques, details and spatial scale, and finally realized perfect execution of the design scheme.
Research
At the early stage, the schematic designer communicated with the client and investigated the site to collect reliable information, and then the design team brainstormed together to figure out the design concept and reasonable functional layout. Later, the schematic designer closely discussed with team members responsible for design development, to decide on construction techniques. At the last step, the team kept a close eye on construction work to ensure perfect execution of the design scheme.

Located in Pingyang County, Wenzhou, the project is the sales center and experience center of a coastal property development. In order to highlight the project's regional features and its function as an experience center, the designers adopted an ocean-themed expression so as to create better user experiences.
