It’s Poliform and Agape flagship store located in Taichung, Taiwan. It mainly uses black, white and gray in space. Moreover, putting some wooden materials can increase warm and gentle feeling thereby balancing these cool colors. Rather than adding unnecessary decorations, designer takes advantage of the building that has many huge windows, to bring natural light inside. Light of luminaire and sunshine create diverse atmosphere with time. The design may fit even though there will be an update for the products, it can decrease waste of materials on redecorating the space.

Unique Properties

The products are attractive because of its simple and elegant appearance. To suit for the products now and later, the space mainly use color black, white and grey. Integrating original building structure, design concept and product to present in the most proper way. Adjustment for the light and shadow, and planning smooth traffic flow

Project Duration

The project started in October 2019 and finished in June 2020.

Inspiration

Considering that the products are elegant with its simple line and color, and it might be renewed every season, the space should be designed not only for the products in present, but also for the new products in future. Moreover, the store would be in an old building, which has lots of huge windows that bring much natural light. Owing to above concerns, designer tried to take advantages of building rather than adding too much unnecessary materials to create the space.
