Stand Vinitaly for BONACCHI
The Bonacchi stand for Vinitaly was born from the need to give a new and more appropriate identity to the company to communicate its value. The customer's request was for an open but at the same time reserved stand. The strength of this project is its simplicity, enhanced by the materials: oak wood, glass, and mirrors with satin lines, a natural sensation to enhance the wines on display. The feature that makes it truly unique is the internal confidentiality.

Functional and elegant stand, open but reserved, wood, tinted shaded glass, mirrors with satin strips
The stand was made with a lacquered wooden structure and a front panel in bleached oak with the backlit Bonacchi logo inside. The columns are covered inside with mirror dibond and satin stripes, which give an effect of depth and movement highlighted by the LED lights. The acid-etched burnished glasses are made in two coupled layers and inside they have a shaded print that obscures the lower part. Through the upper transparent part, you can see the stand from the outside and at the same time have privacy for the people sitting at the tables. The office has the front wall in burnished acid glass and the side walls in spaced oak slats that delimit without closing.
The creative challenge was to combine functionality with aesthetics for an open but reserved stand. It seemed like a contradiction and this prompted us to evaluate different solutions which in the end turned out to be right. On a technical level, the solutions are simple, natural wood, printed burnished glass and mirror with satin strips. Simple but well combined and effective solutions.
The project started in September 2021 and ended in April 2022 with the exhibition at Vinitaly 2022.
The research stems from the customer's needs for a functional and elegant stand, open but reserved at the same time. This prompted me to look for simple solutions and see-through solutions. I began to evaluate wood and glass with solutions suited to the project. On the side of the two entrances, I used burnished glass, with a shaded print inside, this allows you to see inside the stand in the upper part and obscure the lower part to protect the people seated. For the office, I made the two side walls with spaced oak strips so as not to give the feeling of being closed inside and in any case reserved, the front wall is in burnished glass with mini Venetian blinds which can be darkened if necessary.
The inspiration came from the customer's needs, which prompted me to look for simple but valuable solutions, suitable for the company and the wines on display. The bet was to make a glass stand but reserved inside, in order to have privacy for visitors. I chose to partially obscure the glass with satin strips where the names of the wines can be read in transparency and burnished glass printed with a transparent shade at the top and darkened at the bottom. The internal office has walls in oak str
